Stammtisch 2026: Start smart – successful onboarding

Two cities.
Two perspectives.
One common goal.

This year’s Stammtisch 2026 was all about smart collaboration, genuine exchange, and a topic that is often underestimated in practice – onboarding.

Under the motto “Start smart – successful onboarding,” our Stammtisch took place at two locations for the first time this year:

📍 Vienna (Juwel, 1010 Vienna)
📍 Salzburg City (B10 Location)

Both evenings were characterized by openness, honest practical insights, strong personalities on stage – and the shared desire to rethink accounting, digital services, and client loyalty.

Two locations – two evenings full of energy and exchange.

Salzburg: Beneath the surface

The kick-off for Stammtisch 2026 was in Salzburg, more specifically at the B10 Location in Salzburg City.

In a personal setting and open atmosphere, it became clear from the start: The topic of onboarding strikes a chord.

The exchange was lively, honest, and characterized by practical questions:

  • How do we integrate accounting clients effectively?
  • How can digital service succeed without overwhelming anyone?
  • How does a structured start strengthen client loyalty?

Already on this first evening, it became evident: 👉 Smart firms don’t start with tools, but with understanding.

Vienna: Above the
rooftops of Vienna

Two days after the kick-off in Salzburg, Stammtisch 2026 made a stop above the rooftops of Vienna.

The exclusive location Juwel provided the ideal setting for conversations with vision.

The focus was on:

  • smart onboarding
  • digital service
  • Out of the comfort zone – into growth

The exchange was open, honest, and practical.
👉 A second evening that showed how valuable new perspectives in different locations are.

Valuable practical reports from different perspectives

The firm’s view:
Structure creates freedom

From the perspective of tax advisors, it became clear:

  • Onboarding is an investment
  • Structure relieves teams
  • Clear processes improve quality
  • Digital tools only work if they are explained correctly

Smart firms do not rely on more work, but on better workflows – especially in accounting with real-time data.

The client’s view:
Understanding creates trust

The corporate perspective was at least as valuable.

Because clients want:

  • Clarity instead of technical jargon
  • Guidance instead of overwhelm
  • Transparency instead of surprises

Well-executed onboarding ensures:

✔️ better collaboration
✔️ higher satisfaction
✔️ stronger client loyalty

Our speakers – strong voices from the field

We would like to sincerely thank all speakers who impressed with their openness, experience, and plain talk:

🎤 Salzburg Speakers

🎤 Vienna Speakers

All three gave honest insights into their daily challenges
and showed that digital services and personal proximity are not a contradiction.

Guest lecture in Vienna:
Out of the comfort zone – into growth

Another highlight at the Stammtisch in Vienna was the guest lecture by Hans‑Jörg Franz (Xdream).

With impressive life situations, he showed:

  • why people like to stay in their comfort zone
  • how fear blocks change
  • and why the greatest potential lies exactly where it gets uncomfortable

His message was clear:

“Growth does not begin where it is safe – but where you dare to take the first step.”

A lecture that was not only motivating but also gave many people food for thought for a long time.

Discussion that continued –
even after the official part

After the lectures, the floor was opened for a discussion round that lived up to its name:

  • lively
  • honest
  • practical

Questions were asked, challenged, supplemented, and shared. It was precisely this exchange that made it clear:

👉 Successful onboarding is not a finished concept – but a shared learning process.

What we take away – and what’s next

The atmosphere on both evenings was more than pleasant.

For us as organizers, it was clear:

  • We are taking away valuable impulses
  • We are sharpening our future roadmap
  • We are taking the next steps with motivation and determination

Because one thing has been confirmed:

👉 Those who think of accounting, onboarding, and client loyalty together create real added value.

Conclusion:

Start smart is not a theory – it's an attitude

Stammtisch 2026 has shown:

  • Onboarding is a strategic tool
  • Accounting with real-time data needs clear processes
  • Digital services only work with a clear introduction
  • Client loyalty begins with the first contact

Start smart is not a buzzword – it is a decision.
